PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT
“Priscilla - Queen of the Desert”. The 1994 Australian comedy-drama film that quickly attained cult status within the LGBTQI+ community. The plot follows two drag queens and a transgender woman as they journey across the Australian Outback from Sydney to Alice Springs in a tour bus that they have named "Priscilla", along the way encountering various groups and individuals. The ‘fabALICE Festival’ (Pronounced FAB-A-LISS) is a 4-day festival that showcases drag,comedy, cabaret, live music,community and social activities whilst paying homage to this iconic cult movie. Interactive Priscilla Queen of the Desert movie screening ,the Priscilla hub bar, Budget Barbie Camper town tours, comedy…cabaret...it’s all here darling – come join in on the fun!
